Commission Information
How do I commission a piece?
To begin the process of reserving your commission, please fill out the “Request Commission” form with your preferences. Once I have received your request I will email you regarding my availability and request the reference photo you would like me to use. Once all details of the commission are discussed and confirmed, a deposit is required so that I can begin working on your commission.
How do payments and deposits work?
All payments are made securely through PayPal. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission. The remaining balance of the cost will be due after completion of the piece, and before I ship it out to you.
How are commissions shipped?
All commissions will be set with a spray fixative to prevent any smudging. They will be packaged in a protective plastic sleeve and tissue, and mailed on a stiff backing board and inside a shallow box to prevent any potential bending or damage. All packages will also be insured.
What works as a reference photo?
When you are sending me a reference photo of the pet/animal you would like me to draw, please make sure that it is clear and well lit. If you are unsure if your photo will work, feel free to email me to check.
What kind of customization options are available?
There are plenty of customization options that we can discuss for your commission. Some of these includes the number of subjects, the style in which they are depicted (for example, head only, head and shoulders, or full body), the medium in which they are drawn (color or greyscale), and custom sizing and background colors.
